yeah......so I haven't updated this whole entire summer......so i have a heck of a lot to talk about

So summer is over......a lot happened.......here is a brief overview

May 10: (my 20th birthday) Performed in Fesitval of Broadway, the opening concert for Music Theatre of Wichita.  I sang one solo and two duets: Many Moons Ago from Once Upon a Mattress, Written in the Stars and Elaborate Lives from Aida, along with other chorus numbers from the five shows this summer.  It was excellent and I had a wonderful performing again :)

May 28th:  Started rehearsal for Music Theatre of Wichita's PHANTOM.  It stared Matt Bogart, Kim Huber, Myrna Paris, and Daniel Bogart and a phenominal supporting cast (including me :) hehehe)  Rehearsals lasted 11 days and performances went really well. 

Two Weeks later: Started rehearsals for Once Upon a Mattress.  It stared Betz Malone, Kilty Reidy, Monte Wheeler, Shaun Michel Morris, John Boldenow, and again a phenomial supporting cast (including me :) ) The show was hillarious and audiences loved it.  I had a blast!

Next Six Weeks:  Worked at the movie theatre again.....at least i got a raise :)

Now for the big news that im sure everyone has heard........

I am not going back to Trinity

Here's my plan:  Attending Wichita State this semester and then transferring to Oklahoma City Univeristy in the spring.

So here's what I am doing this semester.....

Taking JAZZ 1 BALLET 1 and TAP 1 at Wichita State, Performing in the end of the year concert at Music Theatre of Wichita this weekend called STANDING OVATION, Performing in Beauty and the Beast for the next two months, i am in a commerical for Nex-Tech Wireless that is being shot in  September, and still going to work at the movie theatre.......i am doing all of this and trying to keep from falling apart :)

So thats about it.....i'll try to update this more often.  Hope everyone had a great summer and I miss all of you at Trinity and I again apologize for leaving but you know that i needed to.....

Man am I ready for school to be over for the year.....only a few more days!!!  This has been a really fun year and many exciting things have happened!  However, I am ready to see my friends in Wichita again.  This summer will hopefully rock like many summers of the past....but one thing is for certain, NO CLASS!!!!!  This is the last week of school followed by finals the next week.  I should be finished with everything on May 6th and on the road to Wichita May 7th just in time to do MTW River Festival on the 10th (which is also my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!) I can't believe I am turning 20!  (I know that is sort of on the younger side of my grade but it is still WEIRD)  20 used to seem REALLY old and its crazy that I am about to be 20.....but hey its one step closer to 21!!  That birthday will be fun  

I dont know...I always have mixed feelings about going home...I will miss the people here and I wont see some of the seniors again  although congrats on graduating!!!  On the other hand...I have missed my friends and family at home and can't wait to see them....I can't believe some of them are graduating from high school this year!!!  It is very weird for me and in some ways makes me feel kind of old...(obviously I'm not old at Trinity but you get the idea) I can't wait to see them at graduation and then have a kick ass summer with them!!! (along with friends from my grade and others)

Anyway I still have to get through this week and then through finals so I'm not finished just yet...but im close!!!!  Trinity friends, let's have a kick ass last two weeks.....Wichita friends, get ready for an awesome summer!  I can't wait!

So i just got the message that Emily made it into OCU Musical Theatre and I am FREAKING OUT!!!  I am soooo proud of her!  I am so happy that she got into her number 1 school (and that she isn't going to WSU)!!!  Emily, you are immensly talented and I am positive that you will do wonders down there!!!!  I can't wait to come home in two and a half weeks to see you!  YOU ROCK!

I was totally going to call you that night I called Nate and Adam, but they took the phone away from me and started pelting me with frozen peas....WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO!!!!

Anyway again CONGRATS!!!!!
